This educational material describes in detail every process step how to Produce Nonplated-Through Hole Boards, Plated-Through Hole Boards, Multilayer Boards and Flexible Circuits. Further, it describes how to Specify, Design and Buy Printed Circuit Boards. The material is intended for in-house education within all companies manufacturing or using PCBs. The Handbook as well as the Overhead transparancies describes in detail the fabrication processes, showing the principles in an easy-to-understand way. The description is basically based on a microsection of a board, and each process is shown on the microsectional drawings by color, superposed the previous process. In this way it is easy to follow the progress of the manufacturing process.
This material is designed for in-house education for PCB users as well as manufacturers, giving PCB designers, circuit engineers, quality inspectors and PCB buyers a good working knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards.
